Roasted Turkey Breast, Mushrooms & Brussels Sprouts [Recipe]

Roasted turkey breast with mushrooms and Brussels sprouts is a winner for sure. The homey, comforting dish is unfussy and a total breeze to prepare. And best of all, it tastes amazing! Think Thanksgiving reduced down to a casserole dish. Every day can be Turkey Day with this oven roasted turkey breast recipe!

Don’t forget to PIN it for later!

How do you cook a turkey breast?

In a casserole dish, combine the turkey breast, mushroom, and Brussels sprouts with the prepared olive oil mixture. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The internal temperature of the turkey breast is more important than total time cooked, and you’re looking for 165 degrees Fahrenheit in the thickest part of the turkey. If you kept your turkey breast whole instead of chopping it into bite-sized pieces, you will require a longer cook time since it’s so much thicker. Use a meat thermometer just to be safe!

Low Carb Turkey Breast Recipes

Turkey breast is a great choice for low carb recipes! It’s high in protein, low in fat to save you some calories, and the carbs are practically non-existent! It’s a delicious meat that can be used in a variety of preparations from something as simple as turkey rolls to something a little more elaborate, like bacon-wrapped turkey breast.

How many carbs are in a turkey breast?

Good question! In one turkey breast, there are 2.48 grams of total carbs. Turkey breasts are huge though! One breast weighs approximately 3.9 pounds (1769 grams). Way bigger than their chicken friends. It’s unlikely that you’re going to eat an entire turkey breast in one sitting, so let’s take a peek at the macros for a more reasonable serving size: 100 grams.

In 100 grams of turkey breast:

0.14g carbs, 23.66g protein, 1.48g fat, 114 kcal
